Steal of tha draft review(E.Cov)
1.Intro: Respect My Right to Fly
The music to this track is kind of rough in my opinion. It's hard to
get a feel for it. The intro I can understand because he is saying
that he wants to people to respect his style. It is pretty good for an
intro, a lot of people may be able to relate to it. As you will see
with a ton of songs through out the album.

2.Whaddup Doe Ft. ILL Knob(Prod. By Fred Dinero)
He comes out rapping, which is very clean. The music blends in with
his voice, and seems to be in sync with every verse. Smooth song,
throughout the song he is consistent throughout the song, him and ILL
Knob matching bar for bar. It is not too fast, but at a slow steady
pace.

3.Dear JB
Another song where the music blends in with the verses. He has a
steady flow until about the middle of the song where he speeds up the
tempo. The faster he raps, the less mistakes you can find. Which is
very good. He is rapping about his past, and by the way he says it you
can understand it. He then ends the song the way he started it, with
the music playing out.

4.Western Comfort(Prod. By Uncle Dave)
He comes out fast, which is when he is at his best in my opinion.
Hitting each bar perfectly. He soothes out a little bit toward the
middle of the song. The song is general is short, which is bad because
it is one of the best ones on the mixtape. He needs to rap like this
more often, he has fewer mistakes.

5.Going Places(Prod. By The Tay)
He starts out the song talking. He slowly begins to speed the song up
until he is in full stride hitting his verses. He remembers back to
his high school career. Then showing his respect to the ladies. It is
pretty much his rise to the top. Very slick, fast paced song. In the
middle of the song he slows it down some. 'I've seen so many faces ,
they tellin' me I'm going places.' Saying the he is moving up. He also
says in the song that he has 'been around the block and back.' The
lyrics are really good.

6.Draft Day Ft. Giulietta(Prod. By Demi Hughes)
This song is kind of,"soothing" in my opinion. The beginning is very
slow as he shouts out to the different areas. This is going about his
big day, aka 'Draft Day' the name of the track. 'I'm finna be the best
that ever do it.' Giulietta comes in the song and kinda slows down the
pace, in my opinion the song would be better without her verse.
They're styles just don't match up well in the same song. As I said
earlier in the review when he raps fast it is hard for any other
artist to hang with him, he is so good at that stage. Giulietta backs
him up towards the end of the song and kind of ruins it.

7.Flawle$$ Ft. Brillante(Prod. By Twon)
This song starts out slow, but he really kills it at the end of each
verse. Then the music in the background gets,'harder.' Which speeds up
his tone. He then end his verse on a high note making it hard for
Brillante to top. She fits better with E.Cov then Giuliette. Kind of
like Nicki. She is fast paced and made it short. Her verse really
helped the song. Cov then repeats the intro to the song and then it
goes out with smooth music.

8.Steal Of Tha Draft(Prod. By Twon)
He comes straight out rapping fast paced and hard. It is really good.
'No I'm not Diddy but I run this city' really sticks out too me. He
then has a slick remix type noise. After that he hits the bars
perfect, the lyrics in this are really nice. Of course, this is the
'main event' of the album in my event. He keeps coming back to the
same line, which isn't bad. It really evens out the song. He then
repeats,'steal of that draft' and,'SOTD.' I am not a fan of the
repetition but it is still a great track, and probably the best on the
album.

9.Think About It(Prod. By Demi Hughes)
The track starts out with a background singer, and then he comes in
'talking.' Cov then speeds up the pace, with the end of each verse
falling in sync with the other. For about a minute of the song he is
singing at a real nice pace, easy to understand. He ends out the song
like that. He then starts talking until the end of the track about the
'Steal Of Tha Draft.' One of my least favorite songs on the album.

10.Forever Hated(Prod. By FeelFlyMuzik)
E.Cov starts out the song hard rapping, the background music fits it
perfectly. He then slows down the pace down a little about forty
seconds into the song. He should have keep his originally tone and
pace and this would have easily been the best on the album. He
mentions how about are going to be waiting for his defeat, another
part of the Mixtape I can relate too. He then is in a very 'soft tone'
about half way through the track. I don't like how the chrous is soft,
but the background girl really does blend in. This is one of the
longer tracks, so he did pretty good for it. I feel he could improve
this song and it'd be an easy 5/5.

11.Bo$$ Shit(Prod. By WHPBEATS)
The song intro is amazing. The music is hard, and then he
repeats,'Bo$$ S**t.' After that he freestyles which is the best he has
done on the album. He then comes back to repeating the track title. He
continues to freestyle through out the song. 'F**K it I go ham'
perfectly describes this song. The only thing I don't like, as I
haven't in some of his other songs is the repetitiveness. Besides that
it is a really good, smooth song.
Rate: 4/5
12.Feel Good Music Ft. Casey Veggies(Prod. By Epik The Dawn)
Casey Veggies starts it out soft, which in this track is a very good
fit. Cov then comes out rapping lightly. Casey Veggies really helps
the verses. It fits this song perfectly, I wish he was used on some of
the earlier tracks. This is the kind of music you would want to relax
too, which honestly isn't really my type. The title describes it
perfectly. Then one of them come in harder than in any part of the
song before, almost in a freestyle. Then the chorus starts going
again.

13.Before I'm Gone Ft. Giulietta(Prod. By Young Nab)
After the previously slow song, E.Cov comes in hard and Giuletta again
backs him up. I do not like her at all in the mixtape, sometimes she
blends in but I just can't get over how she sings. Cov makes up with
it with his absolutely sick verse. Giulietta than repeats the same
lyric over and over. After that she shows off her singing abilities.
Not a huge fan of this song, could have been better but I am not going
to hate on it. E.Cov went hard. The music slowly ends the song. Very
relaxing.
Rate: 1.5/5
14.Outro: More Than Music
First of all, E.Cov has a fairly long out come. Longest track on the
album. He comes out talking about how this journey wasn't easy, and
all of this came from the heart. As if he is making a letter to the
fans. Then enters a slow music in the background while he starts
talking in sync, not singing yet. He then comes out singing in sync
with the music. Very soft, wouldn't consider it, 'rapping,' Most of
the song is just him tellin' about him and what he wants. 'When I make
it there, there won't be no doubt I worked hard for mine.' He then
starts talking about how he wants to touch others like he wanted to be
touched. That he gives us, 'Steal Of Tha Draft' for that. 'I have one
goal and that is to make it too the top.' He then starts rapping with
about 2:45 remaining in the song. The outro really describes just the
kind of person E.Cov is and how the album turned out.
Rate: 5/5
E.Cov had a really good mixtape, it could have been better but overall
I was really impressed by it. E.Cov is a great person with a wonderful
future ahead of him.
No doubt you'll hear him at the top soon.
